Use a proper port for display
It is a digital st andard for connecting external monitor to your desktop. Display port is used to launch a connection to the external monitor from the system. It will act as a digital display interface. This will also provide a high-definition content protection facility. A Display Port connector is needed to make use of this facility. Before connecting an external monitor to your system by using Display Port, a corresponding Display Port connector must be there.
Video Graphics Array (VGA)
Video Graphics Array or VGA helps you to connect external monitor to your computer. You will find color code connections in them. They are available in different color codes like blue plastic and labels. If DVI connectors are not present in the external monitor, you will have to use an analog standard for connecting an external monitor.
Digital Video Interface is used to maintain connection with the external monitor. DVI is also used for color coded connections with white plastic and labels. Thus, their cable could provide high quality picture. Digital Video Interface Connector is accessible from both desktop and the external monitor.
For maintaining good connection, you will have to use proper cables. The cable might be color coded or not. So you will have to select appropriate cables.
