Acer has added a new netbook named Acer Aspire One 725 to its Aspire series of netbooks. The Aspire One 725 is an 11.6-inch machine that comes equipped with an AMD C-Series dual-core processor C-60 and an AMD Radeon HD 6290 graphics chip.
Available in Caribbean Blue and Volcanic Black colors, the Acer Aspire One 725 netbook features a glossy, glittery cover, accompanied by a soft matte finish on the palm-rest, which actually color co-ordinates with the cover for a more pleasant look. The soft matte finish also prevents accumulation of fingerprints and smudges on the cover. Weighing a mere 1.2 kg, the Acer Aspire One 725 measures just 1-inch in thickness.
In addition to the above features, the Aspire One 725 is equipped with an HDMI port to display the computer desktop on an HD monitor or to output movies to a high-definition television. If the user is using it on the go, the Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit display allows for both HD resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio.
It comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS as standard and can be bought with either a 320 GB or 500 GB hard disk and up to 4 GB of DDR3 onboard memory.
