The much awaited Acer ICONIA Tab A501 has finally arrived and is ready to make a powerful debut with AT&T’s 4G connectivity. It runs on 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra processor and comes loaded with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The Acer ICONIA Tab A501 is powered by Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb tablet that supports High Speed Packet Access (HSPA+), which is a family of high-speed 3G digital data services available to GSM carriers worldwide. The styling of the tablet is also a welcome change and is pleasant to the eyes.
The tablet is a 10.1-inch multitouch device and provides users with precise finger-tip control for leveraging social media, e-mail, productivity applications, as well as games and entertainment. It has a display of 1280x800 resolution with 16:10 aspect ratio, and supports an 80 degree viewing angle. The tab features Dolby Mobile audio technology, an HDMI port, a microSD HC slot, and USB ports. It has a five megapixel camera with LED flash at the back and two megapixel camera on the front for video conferencing.

The Acer ICONIA Tab A501 is available in both 16GB and a 32GB model. The 16GB model is priced at $499, and the 32GB at $549. AT&T is offering data plans for the tablet, which go for $15.00 for 250MB and $25.00 for 2GB.
