Windows 7 has a very good feature; it gives you the best restore point so that you can get the recovered system. If you want to restore with that restore point then move on, otherwise Windows can show you some more restore points. After initiation of this process it will take few minutes to complete restore. If restore goes well, then reboot your system and check whether it is working properly or not. If system is not working well then again start restore and go to another restore point. You can also restore Windows by using System.old files. You can also recover or restore your system by using system image. Windows 7 provides one more option of Advanced System Recovery. In this, Windows will scan the affected files and recover those files.
You can create restore point manually if the problem is not resolved. Before starting restore close all the running programs. You cannot recover those files which has been deleted or damaged because it does not affect any files present in the system. While restoring your system by using system image, you may lose your programs, system settings and files. Everything will be replaced with new ones with those on system image files. This is a complete restoration of your system.
