One boot menu will appear on the screen. You are required to change the sequences by selecting the “boot from CD” option in that case if it is not already configured in proper manner. After that we can change the service tag of the laptop and we can proceed to reboot the laptop. When the service tag has been changed or deleted, the BIOS password will be disabled or removed immediately.
Acer Aspire laptop is identified by the service tag in the configuration. So, it should be known that if we change the tag value or delete it then the warranty of the laptop will be void.
