Follow the instructions again and afterwards, update your system of the drivers and security updates.
The original factory settings restoration will destroy all your existing files and programs not included in the restore disk. Therefore, if you want to recover the files you need make a backup of your files on a disk and then install them back to your Acer Aspire® after the restoration. Make a backup so that it would not take that much time to recover driver and system updates for your Acer Aspire®.
