BIOS is the Basic Input Output System of the Acer Aspire Laptops. The BIOS is the boot firmware program of your system and is needed to control the boot up function of the laptop. It controls all action of the system till the system is turned off. As you turn on the system, the BIOS conducts a basic hardware check. This checking process is called as Power-On Self Test. The test is run to determine whether all of the attachments are present in the system and if they are working. After the POST screen, the BIOS load the operating system into your system RAM.
