Features of Acer® Aspire® 5515 with Windows® XP
The Acer® Aspire® 5515 laptop is a beautifully styled, AMD Athlon™-based laptop with a nice set of standard features. It is installed with Windows Vista® Basic, Microsoft® Works, and enclosed with editions of the Microsoft® Office and McAfee® Security Center. Windows® XP can be manually downloaded in this notebook. The laptop contains multiple ports and expandability like three high speed USB ports and 5-in-1 card reader.
This laptop works excellently while Internet browsing, viewing movies, listening to music and image editing .The Acer® Aspire® notebook’s screen is huge and has a high resolution of (1280 x 800) that is not too good for perfect viewing. The cooling fan is located on its side body which is better as it results in proper cooling.
Acer® Aspire® 5515 is best suited for people who need only basic functions and are not into more of technical aspects. The laptop is best priced with all basic features of machine installed in it that suits the requirement of a starter. One of the drawbacks in the laptop is the multi-double layer DVD RW drive that is very noisy. Also some software that you would try to install simply won't work on a 32-bit operating system with the Home Basic Edition of the Microsoft® Windows Vista® operating system. As there is no card reader you need to transfer pictures via a USB cable.
