Acer® Aspire 3935 Laptop Review
The Windows Vista Home Premium is the Operating System, which reduce the time for booting. The system also did not exhibit much lag while McAfee Security Center was running in the background. The Handbrake would reduce the time for video conversation. A cooling fan at the left of the keyboard gives occasional background noise. The Wi-Fi offers a good throughput near our router but below-average speed as we moved farther away.
The eye catching ACER Aspire 3935 is only 1 inch thick, and has13.3 inch TFT display. One very contemporary feature is the Aspire is iPhone style, gesture enabled touchpad, which mixes the usual tapping and dragging with auto-scroll through long documents and zooming in and out of data and images. An adjacent button is used for turns off the touchpad for users who propose an external mouse.
ACER Aspire 3935 comes with a slim chassis with a brushed metal finish. It is loaded with Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 3GB of RAM, and a decent 250GB hard drive. The 13.3 inch wide-screen LED display offers high resolution. The display was bright and simple to read, but also very glossy. The touch pad that's merely adequate. The touch pad is usable but slightly cramped, and the mouse buttons need a firm click to register. The touchpad does contain a handful of multitouch gesture controls, including a photo-zooming pinch, and two-finger horizontal scrolling. The keyboard is widely spaced, flat-topped keys. There is a special Digital or Multimedia Card, Memory Stick and Pro flash-card slot on the system front edge, with USB 2.0 and Ethernet ports beside the DVD burner on the right.

This notebook includes Intel Graphics Media Accelerator. The Aspire 3935 offers blistering 3D performance. it turned in a low score of 797 in 3DMark06, compared with the thin-and-light category average of 1,393. , this ACER is on a par with most other notebooks with integrated graphics, like the Gateway UC Series.
- FOUR – Audio and web cam
The doubly surround sound technology and the speaker on the Aspire 3935 produce excellent sound. The background and dialog music in a streaming 3D rock episode came through crystal clear and heavy loud. The tiny 1.3 mega pixel web cam over the display, work well during a Skype call.
- THREE – Keyboard
The keyboard combines full-sized keys with a chiclet-style layout that puts an extra tenth of an inch or so of gap between them. The keyboard support both cursor arrows and dedicated Home, End, PgUp, and PgDn keys, as well as Ctrl and Delete keys in their proper bottom left and top right corners, respectively.
- TWO – Battery Life
The Aspire 3935 loaded with standard four-cell battery, which lasted a decent 4 hours and 10 minutes when running the LAPTOP Battery Test. The endurance is slightly below the thin-and-light notebook category average of 4:16, you could squeeze extra runtime out of this machine by engaging the Power Smart button above the keyboard. The pressing of this button dims the screen brightness, changes the color pattern to Windows Basic.
- ONE – Ports and Slots
The left side of the ACER Aspire 3935 situated the power jack, a VGA port, two USB ports, and the headphone and mic jacks. The mic jack doubles as an S or PDIF output. On the right side of the system are an Ethernet jack, a Kensington lock slot, the third USB port and the tray containing DVD burner. Down in front is a 5-in-1 memory card reader.
The ACER Aspire 3935 laptop is more powerful than other laptops with Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The Windows Vista Home Premium system provides high speed. The McAfee Security Center provides improved security. The system is meant for professional use mainly.
